question about tier decks

hiii, i know this may be a stupid question but u know on the test rules it says you cant use tier decks, well the thing is whats exactly tier deck, im new to competitive yugioh so i don't know thx in advice ^^"

I've sent this to you through private message, but i might be wrong. so i'm posting it here too

well as i have understood from this source (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110626170807AAfuvXI) they're like "ready-made and popular winning" decks that you can look up on the internet,and build yourself. just like an exodia deck back in the days or any of these found in the Yugioh Wikia Site (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Forum:Yu-Gi-Oh!_Tier_List). Just like it says, it's been known to win tournaments but that's not really officially recognized.


Basically, the exams/tests bans the use of "ready-made winning decks" (copy-paste/copy cat decks). You have to build your own original deck based on your understanding of Yugioh Duel Monsters, and the strategy that works for you. Smile
